The UP Diliman Department of Philosophy cordially invites everyone to attend the 𝐔𝐏𝐃-𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 to be hosted 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐙𝐨𝐨𝐦 on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟖 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟒 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟔 𝐏𝐌 𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬.
Renowned philosophers from the University of Cambridge will be sharing their expertise on novel and exciting topics. On Monday, April 8, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚, 𝐏𝐡𝐃 will be speaking on “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞” while on Tuesday, April 9, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐡𝐃 will be speaking on “𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡”. Their lectures will be followed by a mini-workshop and Q&A session which will give attendees an opportunity to share their own insights on the lectures.
The event is 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜, but UP Diliman philosophy graduate and undergraduate students will receive prioritized slots should the registration cap be exceeded. The Zoom link will be sent via e-mail to registrants before the lecture series.
