By the end of any of the programs under the Department, students will be able to:

  • Discuss classical and contemporary philosophical concepts and theories;
  • Analyze theoretical frameworks to resolve philosophical, ethical, and practical dilemmas;
  • Distinguish between arguments and non-arguments with ease using philosophical tools such as logical examination and language in order to criticize and verify claims and positions, as well as propose sound arguments or counter-arguments; and
  • Apply philosophical analysis to solve challenges and issues encountered in society.

Programs
